Addiction towards drug

Hello friends! Welcome back to my blogs. Today I am back again with a new self composed poem of mine. I composed this poem to spread awareness about addiction towards drug which is commonly seen in youngsters. 

Everyone has experienced something bad in their past. There are three types of people who take action towards this. Some forget about their bad past and move on in their life, others try to improve their mistakes of past and some people are unable to forget what happened to them and hence they start the intake of drugs. Those people will have to understand that drugs are only going to make us forget our past for sometime but they are not going to change it. Instead they will waste our precious time which can be utilised for improvement.

Hence we will have to make people understand ( especially youngsters ) that the intake of drug is very harmful and I have composed this poem to spread awareness about the same.

Our life is already very short

We don't have much time to improve our mistake,

But still many people don't improve

Instead start the worst, drug intake.

It only hides our misery for some time

But doesn't turn the truth into lie,

It will only push us underground

And won't let us in the life to fly.

Drugs are niether good for mind

They are nor even good for our health,

They can take away everything from us

They will not even leave our physical strength.

If people will not stop drug addiction

Their mind will become hollow,

They will destroy their life by themselves

And then may die due to sorrow.

We will have to spread awareness for this

It can't be done overnight,

But still we will have to do this

If we want our future bright.

Only pharmaceutical drugs should be taken as required

If want to be safe and snug,

Let's come forward to raise the slogan-

" Say no to narcotic drugs!"

So that was all about my poem.
