The Unsinkable Ship

Hello friends! Welcome back to Vatsala Shukla's blogs. Today I am back again with a new self composed poem of mine which is based on the Unsinkable Ship, as it was called, Titanic, which sank on its very first voyage. And ya! I am really sorry that I didn't upload any blog last Sunday as I was busy preparing for my tests and I couldn't get enough time to compose a new poem. That's why I will be throwing a bonus blog next to next week. So stay tuned.
So, let's see how the Unsinkable Ship sank on its very first voyage through the medium of this poem composed by me.

Long ago in Belfast
A ship called Titanic was made,
People thought it to be unsinkable
And boarded it unafraid.

Rich, poor or middle class
All just wanted to run
To the port where it departed
On 10th April from Southampton.

Total it had nine decks
And each was royal to live,
And those who were the food lovers
Went to the restaurant in collective.

It made its pleasant voyage
For four successive days,
But when 14th April came
It met its fate, anyways.

Some people were taking rest
Others were enjoying their meal,
But no one knew their upcoming fate
Which nobody could ever heal.

The sky was clear
And the sea was calm,
But it all worsened
With an emergency alarm.

A few metres from Titanic
An iceberg could be seen,
But captain Smith couldn't turn the ship
As too late it had been.

The crew tried its best
To take the ship away,
But ships take too much time to turn
As we all know today.

The ship got hit with the iceberg
And the iceberg left the deck cracked,
The water started filling inside
And enough lifeboats too Titanic lacked.

A ship called sampson saw the white flares
But afraid of being caught for his work
Of hunting the seals illegally
The captain returned to the dock.

Radio signals were sent
But california's radio was off,
A distant ship carapathia
Rushed to save the folks.

Here the Titanic was sinking
And the lifeboats were being lowered,
The people were in a panic
As the ship was going underwater.

On that black night of 14th April
1500 people were perished,
When carapathia finally reached there
The innocent survivors it cherished.

The people on the carapathia
Witnessed 15th April dull and blank,
As the Titanic broke in two parts
And the unsinkable ship sank.

So, that was all about my poem which tells the story of the magnificent ship Titanic which sank on its first voyage even though it was called unsinkable by the people.
More lives would have been saved on that day if the people wouldn't have been too much careless about the radio signals, white flares and life boats.
After this incident strict rules were made for the passenger ships.
Hope you all liked my poem.πŸ₯°πŸ₯°
