Martyrs of our country

Hi friends! Welcome to Vatsala Shukla's blogs. Today I am back again with a new self written poem of mine. But before starting I would like to tell you something that my next blog will be based upon how I spent republic day. As we all know that only two days are left for republic day so I would like to wish you all a really Happy republic day in advance.

So let's come to today's poem which is based on the martyrs of our country. 

So let's get started!!

O the martyrs of my country,

I wanna thank you through my poetry.

I searched up my whole dictionary,

But didn't find the words that suit your bravery.

We are able to sleep at night

Because you don't,

Many people may fear the gun shots

But I know that you won't.

You are the angels present on the earth,

And your life is of great worth.

You have sacrificed your soul to your country,

And your body is the shield that works for its safety.

We are safe because of you,

For our safety you left your family too.

I know that your family is living in your heart,

Tears too come in your eyes when the journey to the border you start.

You are great I always knew,

O the martyrs I really wanna thank you!
