O world! Where are you today

Hey guys! Welcome to Vatsala Shukla's blog. Today I am here with my second blog which is based on one of my self composed poems. I composed this poem when I was in class VII. If you like my poem then  let me know in the comment section and please follow my blogs. 

This poem is based upon the excessive use of mobile phones. People don't even realise that they are not present in this world while using phones. Phones were made to help people in their work but people are even exploiting their work by going into a different world where there is no one except them and their phones. We will have to make them realise what they are doing and this poem is a way to do that. 

O world! Where are you today?

I'm searching you every night and day

O world! Where are you today?

Everyone is stuck with their phones today

"How boring the life is?",They say,

Being very close to each otherthey are far away

O world! Where are you today?

Everyone has created their own world,

Where there is no sister or brother

A world which don't has place for a father or even a mother.

They are living in that world alone,

With this world they are just unknown.

They try to search happiness in that world only,

But how will they do it being too lonely.

They have forgotten the place where they were someday,

O world! Where are you today?

People have forgotten their family,

Which has supported them in all their misery.

They want to come back into this world again,

They search for the path but they search in vain.

Their family is living with their body but not soul,

Their soul is living in a jail called phone.

Their family is waiting for their release every night and day,

O world! Where are you today?

The world will become weaker if the people don't reunite,

They will have to escape the prison in which they are locked very tight.

The greatest strength of the world is in people's unity,

But they are stuck to gadgets to gain their own vanity.

We will have to make humanity rise up anyway,

It won't take too much to spread awareness everyday.

We will have to save the world which is exploiting everyday,

O world! Where are you today?

So, this was my poem which was made to spread awareness. I will again say that people should use phones only for important works. They should not make a different world with their phones.
