My first blog

Hi everyone! My name is Vatsala Shukla and this is my first blog which will be followed by many blogs every Sunday, 2:00pm.

I love to compose poems and stories and hence my blogs will be based on my poems, thoughts, stories, or how I spent very important days of my life. My blogs can also contain appreciation of great personalities or awareness towards something.

As we all know that today is Rani Laxmi Bai jayanti so my first blog will be based on one of the greatest warrior of the first war of Indian independence i.e Rani Laxmi Bai.

Rani Laxmi Bai- The queen of Jhansi is a great example of women power and devotion towards our nation. Her name is taken with great respect and proud by every indian as we were lucky to have such a pure soul and Powerful body among us. The fame and glory of a country is dependent upon the citizens of that country and she is surely one of the biggest reasons of India's fame, glory and progress. It would have been very difficult for India to gain freedom without her deeds as she was the person who motivated others to struggle for the freedom of the upcoming generation by sacrificing her life in the battlefield. She fought fearlessly against the Englishmen and at last sacrificed her life like a true soldier while fighting in the battlefield. Her life is an inspiration to everyone who is devoted towards his motherland. Sir hugh rose, who led the British army against her,  wrote about her in his autobiography that she was the man among mutineers.

She was a true and the most powerful warrior of the revolt of 1857. We will never forget what she did for our country and her name will always be written in golden letters in the Indian history.
